Murder in the Barn and Picnic on the Lawn

Auditions for Moon Over Buffalo

Needed are four men (ages30-60) and 4 women (ages 25-80) for the Carson Valley Community Theatre production of a comedy by Ken Ludwig to be performed October 9-11 & 16-18. The play revolves around two aging actors (husband and wife) and their attempts to regain their former career status while doing repertory theatre in Buffalo, New York.

Auditions will be held on July 7 at 6:00 pm and July 11 at 9:00 am at the Cultural Arts/Copeland Building at 1572 Hwy. 395 in Minden.  For information e-mail audition@carsonvalleycommunitytheatre.org.

Volunteers Needed for Moon Over Buffalo

Producer Needed for Moon Over Buffalo

Carson Valley Community Theatre has an opening for the position of producer for Moon Over Buffalo. The play is a comedy written by Kenneth Ludwig and was Carol Burnett’s comeback debut on Broadway. The production is scheduled for October 9-11 & 16-18 at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Rehearsals will begin in mid-July.

The position requires strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate cast and crew while supporting the director. Past experience is not required, but a familiarity with play production is preferred.
